Difference between ASTM A269 tp304 tube and sa213 tp304 seamless stainless tubing

Both the ASTM a269 and sa213 are grades of stainless steel grades applicable for boilers, heat exchangers and super heater elements. The differences are in the production method and the wall thickness. The ASTM a213 grade of tubes is made seamless, but the a269 are welded stainless steel. That means the a213 tubes are dimensionally accurate than the a269. The a213 tubing has a wall thickness ranging from 0.4 to 12.7mm where the a269 grade tubes have 0.8 to 4mm wall thickness. These are the major difference and these reflect in the usage of the tubes as well.
